A MESSAGE FROM PASTOR BIRDSONG:

March 17, 2012

Dear Friends of OBBC,

Hi everybody! I trust that all of you are doing well. God has been so good to us all. This week we have enjoyed (endured?) a snow storm, hurricane force winds, hail, and a whole lot of rain -- just another week in Tillamook County! Some of our members have headed South for a little sunshine. I think I counted 16 in all!

Today I was finally able to get outside and do a little lawn work at the church. I spent a couple of hours picking up fallen limbs and also cutting down some nasty black berry bushes that were threatening to take over the property. It's a privilege to serve the Lord.

One of the students at OBBS trusted the Lord as her Saviour this week! It was my privilege to take the Bible and share with her the precious gospel story that has changed so many lives. To hear her pray to the Lord and ask for His salvation was a real blessing to this preacher! Hallelujah!

Tomorrow is Sunday, the first day of the week. It is the Lord's Day and I want to challenge you to make every effort to worship the Lord with us at OBBC. The old devil will surely do his best to get us to stay home but let's not allow him to win. I can't wait to see you at 10:00 AM for Sunday School. By God's grace I will be there...

With a Bible in My Hand,

Pastor Birdsong

P.S. Just one more week until the Grand Opening of The Blessed Way Bookstore!
