Dear Friends of Ocean Breeze Baptist Church,
Tomorrow, Sunday March 22, will mark the first Lord's Day I
haven't been in church in more than 35 years! I am so sad about it and
just a little bit mad about it too. I would like to encourage you to
spend some time in worship with your family
tomorrow. Perhaps you could have a time together as a family: sing a
few songs, pray together, and read God's Word with one another.
Tuning in to an online church service might be helpful too.
For me, it's just not the same as being "assembled" together but it's
better than nothing. Our son, Keith Birdsong, will be conducting an
online service on Facebook Live at 8:00 am local
time (remember there's a three hour time difference between here and
Massachusetts). The name of his church is Bellingham Bible Baptist
Church. If you want something in our time zone then check out Pastor
Trieber's online service from North Valley Baptist

Let me issue a BIG "Thank You" to those who came out for our
Church Work Day today: Brian Shultz, Teresa Shultz, Ashley Shultz,
Jerry Bond, Haylie Cole, Jeff Hall, David Henderson, Kristy Roberts,
Naconna Gentry, Samantha Gentry, and Charlotte
Birdsong. We got a lot of work done and we all enjoyed a beautiful day
and good fellowship together.
Finally, please remember that Charlotte and I love you and
are praying for you. It is an honor to be the pastor of OBBC. Let's
not forget that Romans 8:28 is still in the Bible!
